Los Angeles tops the list of America's Rudest Cities (Image:

If you have, then you’re not alone.

It seems that many of the major cities in the United States have a problem with rudeness, at least according to Travel and Leisure.

They recently released a list of the 20 Rudest Cities in the United States and some of the entries might surprise you.

There are, of course, appearances from many East Coast cities notorious for their attitude problems (New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.), but the top spot belongs to Los Angeles, a supposedly laid-back city on the West Coast.

Other surprising cities on the list include Memphis, Tennessee; Dallas, Texas; and Orlando, Florida. All of them beat out the Windy City which finished a respectable fifteenth. Looking for more surprises? How about Anchorage, Alaska at number 20 or Providence, Rhode Island at number 18?

It seems that people from all across the country could use a crash course on manners. For the full list and a more detailed explanation of how the list was compiled, head on over to Travel and Leisure’s website.
